It took 20 minutes for the lady to tell me what I already knew..
This is to do with the crossing at the intersection of Kanahooka Road and Brownsville Avenue, Dapto. It is the most unsafe crossing I know of. The planned traffic lights need to be built ASAP.
The staff were very efficient and welcoming. We concluded our business within five minutes of walking through the door.
A lot of services to help citizens which I never able to access to back in my country.
The Public Art Portrait Wall at Thirroul is an initiative the Council can be proud of. The photographic portraits in black and white give a great snapshot of the local community as I discovered recently on a visit. Sitting in the cafe opposite the wall I 'recognised' some of the faces and enjoyed watching people enjoying themselves or fellow locals. It is totally engrossing. I was also amused by the conversations and comments I heard around me. What derision! What diversity! What a great idea! More Public Art initiatives...please. Thank you.
