Says the best form of welfare is work. Doesn't understand how many job interviews job seekers lose as a result of The Dept of Employment letting them having a proper police station clearance check. The cheap ones aren't usually acceptable. I personally had to lose several as a result of appointments I couldn't cancel & that were doubled up. WorkSkil said to me that "education isn't a meaningful pathway to employment." I have that in letter format. I had spent my 40th birthday on several days trying to reconnect after losing an interview for a job that required no qualifications & even offered full FREE onsite training as a result of WorkSkil giving me no written warnings. The Dept of Employment (government) allowed this to happen. I was told help would come & Centrelink reversed the decision saying basically I had done NO WRONG but WorkSkil's internal investigation with dodgy WorkFocus favoured them! I lost out $500 as they wouldn't approve a Cert IV course & forced me to do a crappy copy & paste Cert 2 course where I was so depressed as a result. They aren't supposed to accept Cert 2 courses but only Cert 4 so they did the total opposite & no one wants to help me! I am now studying much as WorkSkil put me into debt as they wouldn't let me have the time for study but oh well. I'm still studying, several modules left away from my degree. These companies they want us working for won't hire you if you don't tick all the boxes & if you are over a certain age you are stuffed. I will keep going & do a second degree. But its getting harder & harder to get a job. I can't risk logging my job searches other than a certain one as suitable work clause goes against the job plan rules! You can't win. Dept of Employment actually acknowledged they did the wrong thing by sending me some farming job but I have a busted knee & leg. I can't use medical certificates anymore for it because I've already used my one shot for the same condition even though its permanent. It's a nightmare!! Centrelink don't answer calls & when they do they hang up on you. They keep job seekers tied up in appointments that lead to NO JOB MATCHING & keep ripping off the taxpayers. It's a nightmare. The bullying & job seeker abuse in red tape & actually bullying in these appointments horrible. I shall keep studying - I shall prove them WRONG about education. I have all the evidence saved if anyone from the media wants to look at it. Why should I pay a hex uni debt off when they forced me into it after CONSTANTLY BREAKING THEIR OWN RULES? I apologise for being a student & out of work. Interviews are only good for those people "fit the job description criteria". I don't. Fine the companies for not training us up or something. A royal commission into job seeker abuse needs to happen. Its a complete waste of Tax Payers money. I got injured during a WFD program but they didn't care about that. On another surgery matter only reason I had jaw going through my skull realignment surgery was when my employment consultant at WorkSkil FINALLY took time off so I could get it done. I have medical evidence of EVERYTHING. I have not defamed anyone on here nor slandered. I just hope her office can help me (this particular MP). Dept of Employment are aware of my situation but since 2016 have ignored it so much for that letter. I will NEVER vote Liberal ever again (neither will I vote for the ALP). Greens of Nick X for me.
