Unhelpful Service Dept, Replaced car battery to find radio not working. Requires code available from the dealership of purchase. Offloaded me to some other external company. Never had this issue with a BMW vehicle. Radio still not working. Thanks SCCV

Driving from Sydney to Nowra the low coolant message appeared. The service department at Southern Classic Cars Volkswagen looked at the car immediately. Inspecting and replenishing the coolant as needed. All while we waited with refreshments in the there service office. Back on the road within ten minutes. Many thanks Southern Classic Cars Volkswagen.

BE DUBIOUS ABOUT DEALER MECHANICSYou think you're doing the right thing when you take your car back to the dealership for servicing. Not in this case. VERY dubious about the very expensive ride we almost got taken on.My wife dropped her Tiguan in for a routine service to be phoned abruptly an hour or so later informing her the previous mechanic had overtightened her oil sump plug, threading it meaning it could not be removed without requiring a new oil sump at an additional cost of $1200. Under duress and given no solutions that would be other than a bandaid, my wife agreed. She was then informed the part would take some days to come in and she would have to leave her car with them. No consideration of how she was going to get home that day, not even a concern - just, see you on Friday. Just bring your wallet.Smelling a rat, and knowing that the previous mechanic was very honest and reliable, we went in the next morning to get the car back and halt any further servicing. Initially told the oil change is one of the first things (i.e we haven't done much yet) the story changed to everything is done, bar the oil change...We paid the bill (read, ransom) and got her out, except for the curious item on the bill - the new sump plug (the same one which they couldn't get out?) Needless to say, that item was swiftly removed.Game plan was to take the car to another, more trustworthy mechanic to see if there were other options that wouldn't cost an arm or a leg.Funny thing about this was, this second mechanic got the plug out, said it all looked fine and changed the oil and reused the same plug - nothing to see here! Our conclusion is SCC either was lying or incompetent, as our gut feeling suggested. This story has it all;- perception of dodgy mechanics taking woman for a ride with phantom costly issues- an issue which another more experienced mechanic found was not an issue- a sump plug that was threaded and unable to be removed (diagnosed without purportedly removing said plug...?) being reused no worries. We know where we will go for our future services and it will NEVER be with dealer servicing.

I had been in touch with Adam for a few months prior to the purchase of my golf R. No question went unanswered and helped me every which way they could to get me my dream car. On delivery I felt like I had made a friend rather then I was just another sale. Extremely happy with the service Adam and his team have provided and absolutely love my new Golf! Thanks again!!

Clean and professional looking as any European car brand dealership should be. Unfortunately taking the car of your choice for a test drive proved difficult as they only have a few models of cars with enough stock to allow for a decent test drive. When they did have a car that I wanted to test drive, I was told that I could only drive a short distance. If I'm gong to spend big money on a car I need to know how it drives.
