The staff and facilities at Wollongong Private Hospital are amazing. I couldn't ask for better care during my recent stay.
Rude maternity admin staff member who tried to force me to book online, falsely stating that it was the hospitals only process for Admission. Completing the online process would have required me to complete the same information that I had already filled out on their plethora of paperwork. When I questioned if there was an alternative process she then aggressively demanded my name without giving hers (well now shes got it). Will now attempt avoid the hospital and book into Sydney. Not sure if I have any options other than Ramsay. This is what decades of private health insurance buys you - complete and utter waste of money.
Gave birth to both my children here. The amenities are great, clean, big and modern. Midwives and nurses here are absolutely wonderful.
The Nurses on level 4 south are wonderful and caring,they made my 4day stay comfortable nothing was a problem to them
Sharing my partner's recent experience as a day patient at Wollongong Private Hospital. Once admitted, she found the staff to be efficient and professional, however a 3 hour wait in a crowded waiting room was extremely dissatisfying.Particularly as she was required to fast from the previous evening.Asked to be there at 10.30 AM, she was taken in to the ward at 1.30 PM. and by that time she felt quite unwell, due to having taken essential medications without food and a minimum amount of water. Finally received a cup of tea and sandwich at approximately 3.30 PM. No explanation offered as to the long delay.
