Superb. At first we thought Kneading Ruby was closed, but once we opened those big, heavy doors we discovered a treasure trove of delicious Italian fare. We shared a Margherita pizza and gnocchi with fresh peas, goats cheese and spinach. Both were made with a lovely light hand. Just perfect. Friendly, helpful and speedy service. Highly recommended!
I was down from Sydney and a local took me here. Loved the vibe, very relaxing and upbeat. Hands down the best garlic bread I've ever had. They essentially pour a melted stick of butter over a round loaf of bread. Absolutely amazing. I will definitely be back here.
First time eating here and the food and service was very good. We were in a big group and the waiters were always making sure we had drinks. On top of this the food was brought out so everyone enjoyed their dinner together. Woodfire pizza crusts were so tasty. I recommend the prosciutto and rocket pizza. I will be back.
Normally I'd have an issue with overly attentive staff, by the guys n girls at Kneading Ruby are just so nice! And the food... rarely can I say that I've gone somewhere and tried something for the first time. Pour over Garlic Bread, White Chocolate Aranccini, random Italian herbal aperitif. So memorable. Can't wait to go back.
Kneading Ruby would have to be one of my favourite places to eat in the Gong. The experience is really amazing and the food is just divine. Location is really cool up the alleyway, hidden behind the big heavy wooden barn type doors. You will not be disappointed after visiting this place but make sure to book well ahead of time as it's a super popular spot. One of Wollongong best kept secrets that's not so secret with the locals.
