Ive been with Peoplecare since I was born under my parents policy. I now have my own child and family who are also with Peoplecare. Loyalty doesnt get recognised. Recently my own child has needed a costly item and we were told we couldnt get more (about 13% covered). In general, claiming is really easy except the app has been down for 3 days now. A few things on the policy isnt as competitive to other companies whom offer a lot more for the same price you pay. Researching regularly I find is the key for getting the best for you and your family, especially a young family.
I have very much found their customer service to be excellent and their pricing + coverage to be fantastic for my needs over many other major health funds. Thank you Peoplecare - keep up the good work!
Making a claim is really easy and it gets processed very fast. Also I always get a personal E-Mail explaining me if something couldn't be covered etc....like it a lot.
Not really happy on their dental policy or extras waiting period for overseas visitor.. a visitor visiting here for 3 or 4 months and waiting period for them 2 months doesn't make any sense, they can even raise the policy price but making them ineligible for 2 months shows they don't really care for human life rather want to protect their financials..
Peoplecare are amazing! My husband has had so many surgeries and four stays (soon to be five) in Wollongong Private and our out of pocket have been minimal - the one excess a year has saved us thousands as has the Access Gap Scheme - thank you!
