Funny, lots of the reviews below refer to under quoting over the phone, only for the quote to be increased dramatically when you enter the salon. The response to the reviews by the owner always blames the customer, Surely all the people writing the reviews can't be wrong? Beyond expensive. Went in there a few months ago with my daughter. Her colour & cut was $370 - ok was a treat & looked good. Now i was quoted $250 over the phone. Went in after my daughter & was quoted another $370!!! for a far easier job. I explained that there was no way i was going to pay $740 all up for hair. Stylist came back & said they could do a colour for $270 but would have to forfeit some of the 'treatments'. Great so i am spending $270 for an inferior job? Well it was i am sorry to say. It is such a shame that such a great looking salon is charging like a wounded bull. Money is not the issue here, we have plenty, but value for money is a must and this place does not deliver. Having read the below response from the owner, it would also appear that he is somewhat arrogant.
Amazing experience, from the moment you book yourself in for an appointment till the end.I can hardly believe that they would give you a quote over the phone, something that a couple of reviewers (fake?) have mentioned. Even in person they still would ask me to come back for an appointment in order to actually understand what my hair needs and what I would like for it to be done.They adapted the pricing to my possibilities without canceling any treatments prior mentioned for my own benefit, and this is what I call a 5* Luxury Service. Everybody has a smile for you, and please lets talk about the head massage .The stylist has followed every step mentioned during the consultation, and we talked through the hair cut making sure I was happy with everything she was cutting off. It has been some time since my hair has felt so light and healthy and its all thanks to them!!If youre looking to be treated like a princess this is the salon for you!!
When I first came to Charli and Kate my hair was so damaged that when I brushed it the ends would all snap off, my hair was getting shorter every week without being cut and toner would not take to my hair due to the damage. The hairdressers at Charli and Kate showed me a treatment to use for a month then come back to see how it went. After only 2 washes with the treatment my hair wasn't snapping off and felt soft. I went back to charli and Kate and had my hair foiled and cut and am so amazed at the difference I will never go anywhere else - Cannot say thank you enough for the transformation! XXX Especially to Nat who coloured my hair to Perfection. XXX

The best and most professional hair service that I'v ever received. I went for a huge change in hair style and they made sure that I was informed about every step of it. And they are sustainable! My hair was donated to a charity which is made it all the more worthwhile. Definitely recommend.
