Over two appointments at CBD I ended up with are really negative bad experience. Recently I found out that on the first appointment a tooth was not properly filled leaving a cavity in the middle of the tooth that was visible via xray. The most recent appointment before knowing of the prior problem I was treated poorly being insulted after turning up and finding I was not even booked in.
Had major dental work here a while back and the team were excellent and friendly. Still my dentist of choice in Wollongong.
I made an appointment for my 8 year old son to have a tooth looked at that was black and not coming out. My son needed an X-ray and the dentist who was a lady shoved a mouth piece in his mouth and he started to gag. He told them he was going to be sick at least 4 times in which they just stood there doing nothing. I took him over to the sink in which he was sick. The dentist was so rude and said that it was a spit sink and they were going to have to clean that up and she didn't know he was so SENSITIVE. Then when she did it the next time slowly he was fine. When he needed to have a needle in his mouth she didn't even tell him and just shoved it in and my son nearly jumped through the roof. There were NO words of encouragement or praise throughout and she didn't say anything to him once they removed his tooth. I was too busy worrying about my son to cause a scene on the day. But SHAME ON YOU CBD DENTAL, you may have a dinosaur chair but your skills with children are shameful to say the least. I tell everyone about what poor service my poor son had. I have been looked after better and he is a CHILD. Do not go to CBD dental!!
